Biography
Andre Bagoo is a Trinidadian poet and writer, the author of four books of poetry. His poetry has been published all over the world in journals such as Boston Review, Cincinnati Review, St Petersburg Review, POETRY, and The Poetry Review and he was awarded The Charlotte and Isidor Paiewonsky Prize by The Caribbean Writer in 2017. He received an honourable mention in the Derek Walcott Writing Prize in 2005 and his fiction was recently a finalist in the Ernest Hemingway Foundation’s short-fiction prize. Bagoo’s latest book, The Undiscovered Country (Peepal Tree Press, 2020), is a collection of essays on art and literature,
