Letters to the Broken, Healing and Healed, utilizes poetic prose to offer advice to some tough issues facing society. In it, the columnist explores themes often stigmatized in society such as women’s rights, gender-based violence, child abuse and suicide amongst others. Through the use of letters, she carries us on a journey that explores different states of the healing experience, inclusive of disbelief, pain, anger, love, and forgiveness. By writing to her audience, we get a taste of her own brokenness, season of reparation and finally wholeness.
